In the widget selection, this is listed under the name Wysiwyg.

It is a text field that can be further customised.

The widget looks like this:

  • Title → used for orientation in the administration.

  • Content → used for displaying texts / images / buttons / links on the website.

  • Container type → sets the container indentation from the screen edges.

Toolbar legend for the Wysiwyg panel:

  • <> → display HTML code

  • ← go back one step in edits

  • → go forward one step in edits

  • ¶ – option to set text size / H1, H2, H3...

  • B – make the text content bold

  • / – apply italic to text content

  • Del – the selected text will be struck through

  • A – set text colour and text background colour / set smaller text above or below the text

  • Link – add a link to the selected text, which can point anywhere

  • [/] – insert shortcodes using this (more about these here – link will be added)

  • Image – insert an image

  • Table – insert a table

  • Add link – add a button to the text field

  • Underline – underline the selected text

  • Add custom class – additional text change options, depending on the given project

  • Align – text alignment

  • Unordered / ordered list – set up lists
