Widget - CTA block

In the widget selection, this is listed under the name CTA, or "Call To Action".

Using this widget, you can draw the visitor's attention to something, make an announcement, or prompt them to take some "action".

This is a custom-designed widget. The content of this widget can be any text with a button.

In the administration, the widget consists of 2 parts: Content and Properties.

Content:

  • Title – used only for orientation within the page being edited and is not displayed on the website.

Button

  • Under this field you have the option to edit/add a button.

  • Filling in the button is not required, but you can choose where the button will link and fill in the text that will appear in the button.

There are two types of button setup depending on where the user should go on the website:

  • Internal url – you can select a page within the website to link to. In the button, edit the button name and from the selection choose the page to link to.\

  • External url – you can insert a link to a page outside the website. In the button, edit the button name and in the adjacent field enter the URL address to redirect to.

  • Color – here you can set the button colour (primary or default)

  • Extension – not used

Additional options:

  • New Window – clicking the button opens a new browser window

  • Download – not used by default

  • Modal – in certain cases can be used to display information in a pop-up window or show a form

  • Content – enter the text content of the widget here

Properties

In this tab there is additional widget configuration:

  • Padding Top and Margin Top are for the top indentation of the widget.

  • Padding Bottom and Margin Bottom are for the bottom indentation of the widget.

  • ID is used to set an anchor (enter the anchor ID of the link from which you want to reference this widget).
