Olive 5.1

🫒 General information:

Version 5.1 introduces a completely new CMS look – the Olive theme. The update also brings many useful improvements, such as early bot detection and widget sharing across pages.

🆕 New features:

New CMS design

We've created a new design for the content management system – the Olive CMS theme!

Compared to the original version, it's more airy and organized, making working with the CMS a true pleasure. 😊 You can read about everything the new design includes on our Olive website.

But don't worry – if you prefer the old design, you don't have to switch when upgrading to the new Olive version. We're happy to keep the original CMS look for version 5.1 and above.

Honeypot*

With Honeypot, we protect your website even better. We've added hidden fields to forms that serve as bot detection. When bots are detected, they are blocked from proceeding. The result is near 100% bot detection and a significant reduction in spam. Honeypot is simply something you should want on your website.

TextField – Pristine REGEX pattern, Coloris, Custom CSS*

We've extended text fields with three new options.

REGEX is worth highlighting – it now allows you to define what input from users should look like in forms. Does the phone number require a country code? What format should an address be in? You can now configure all of this – REGEX lets you validate almost anything.

Template selector*

Allows you to add one widget to multiple pages – say goodbye to tedious, repetitive filling in of the same information across pages. Sharing primarily works for forms. The update for all widgets can be found in Olive 5.6.

Forms*

It's now possible to track from which page (URL) a form was submitted. This gives you even better insight into how users behave on your website – you know exactly from which page they sent their inquiry.

Notes

* changes are not automatically applied when upgrading to a new version of the system. The update does allow adding them to older versions as well.
