Olive 5.7
🫒 General information
Version 5.7 saves time when managing content. A form, banner, or section created once can now be easily shared across pages – and editing it in one place updates it everywhere. It also adds the ability to protect selected pages with a password and automatically display a summary of what a customer submitted through a form.
🆕 New features
Content block sharing without repetition*
No more filling in the same form, banner, or contact section on every page separately. Create content once and add it to any page with a single selection from a list. Edit it in one place – it automatically updates everywhere.
This is useful for, e.g., a contact form at the bottom of pages, a review section, a CTA banner, or anything you want to keep consistent across the entire website.
Embedding entire pages and articles into other pages*
Need to display the content of a specific page or article somewhere else on the website? You can now embed an entire page, product, or article directly into another page. Editing the original content is immediately reflected everywhere it is embedded.
Password-protected pages*
Selected pages or sections of the website can now be protected with a password, a username + password combination, or a predefined access list. Practical for example for:
- an internal company section accessible only to employees
- a price list or documents accessible only to selected clients
- access to results or reports
Secured content is never stored in cache – there is no risk that someone without a password could see it.
Customer form submission summary*
After a form is submitted, a summary of what the customer sent can be displayed directly on the website page. Each summary is linked to the specific submission, so no one else can see it. This is useful, for example, as an order confirmation, inquiry summary, or overview of registration details.
Bulk text replacement in CMS
Need to rename a company, change a product name, or standardize the spelling of a term across the entire website? The new bulk text replacement tool handles it for you – without having to go through pages one by one.
It can also work with advanced patterns, such as swapping word order or adjusting formatting. For larger websites (over 100 pages), processing runs automatically in the background, so editors can continue working in the meantime.
Typical use: website rebranding, standardizing text after a product line change, or bulk fixing a typo in a repeated text.
Notes
* changes are not automatically applied when upgrading to a new version of the system. The update does allow adding them to older versions as well.
